Many times we don’t want to hurt other people’s feelings, and many times we’re dishonest to them just not to hurt them. But sometimes we have to face the truth for them, it may disappoint them but people will respect your honesty, if it’s really the truth for you. If we really don’t like or love them, face the truth, because making people believe in what is not true, would be more painful than to know what is true.

My psychology lecturer: People who self harm are incredibly strong. You have to consider how hard it must be for them to get through the day. And how determined they are to want to survive, to not give up. That’s strength.
